Dinner Conversation

Paige is not a huge fan of Zucchini but I still make her eat it when it is the only vegetable that we have with dinner. Following is the conversation we had last night at dinner.

Mom: Just eat the 2 zucchini and get it out of the way then you can eat the pasta and chicken and
not have to worry about it.

Paige: We have a very serious problem here mom!

Mom: Okay and what would that be?

Paige: You keep trying to convince me that the green things taste good and they just don't!


Where do they come up with these things? I laughed so hard. And in the end she ate her zucchini.

Spin Art

For Christmas Paige got a Spin Art thing from Grandma Sherri. So after an amazing dinner (raspberry tilapia fish, scalloped potatoes, beans, and corn) we brought out the spin art for some family time and had a blast.





It is fun to see what comes out after you squirt a bunch of paint on something that is spinning. The girls were so excited to squeeze the paint.






And of coarse we had to top off the evening with a vanilla milkshake. I really had to talk myself out of making one for breakfast this morning so I thought it would be appropriate to do them tonight. Thanks Grandma Sherri for the wonderfully fun game.

Life

I know most of you are wondering what happened to us. It is called Life. We traveled to Idaho for Christmas. Had a busy time there and we have just been enjoying our last days with Blake before he goes back to school. So I have lots of pictures to upload and stuff to blog about but I am not feeling so good tonight so it will be some other time. We are going to a Dr. Appt tomorrow and will get to hear the heartbeat for the first time. He couldn't find it last time so we didn't get to hear it. We are taking the girls with us and Paige is so excited. I will post more later.
