He's here!!!!!!!!!!

This morning we arrived at the hospital at 6 am to have our sweet little Eli. All went really well and fast. The C-Section was another experience in an of itself but we won't get into that now.

Eli was born at 8:14 am, was 7lbs exactly, and was 19 inches long. He was crying and Blake got to hold him but then they took him to the nursery because he was breathing to fast. So he is now down in NICU trying to get his breathing back to normal. We are still not for sure what is going or how long he will be in there but so far he is doing well.

He is so very cute. I still can't figure out who he looks like though. We will have to give it a little time. But he is so terribly cute and has lots of dark hair. We will update you all as we know more info and as we get better pictures.

Last day

Today is Blake's last day of Law School!!!!!!!! We are so excited. He still has to take 2 more exams next week. But today is his last day of classes. I am so proud of him for everything that he has accomplished. Not only has he finished law school in 2 years (usually it takes 3 years) but he is also graduating with Honors. And in all this he has kept his family at the top of his priorities. We just hope now that he can pass the bar at the end of July. This will be the first time in our married life that he has not been a student. Wow I wonder what this will feel like. Way to go Blake we are so very, very proud of you and this huge accomplishment.

Keagan Blake

I cannot believe that it has been 3 years since our little man passed away. At times it feels like just yesterday and at others it seems like a lifetime ago. We miss him so much but are so grateful to know that we will be with him again some day. The girls are constantly talking about him. It is so sweet to hear what they have to say and what their thoughts on the whole thing is. It has also been a great teaching opportunity for them. Later today we will go let off our balloons for him, and we are excited that Grandma Sue and Aunty Brooke will be here to do that with us.

We love you Keagan Blake! Thank you for choosing our family to belong to. And for teaching us so many invaluable lessons. We cannot wait to see you again someday.

Moving and Ultrasounds.

So we have had a very interesting few days around our house. Originally we were going to move to Idaho at the end of July. Well we got a phone call the other day and our renters are moving out and so we have decided to move home at the end of this month to minimize our damages. We don't want to pay our mortgage and things there and our rent here. So what does this mean. Well it means that in the next 2 1/2 weeks we have to pack up our apartment, have a baby, recover from having a baby, load up the truck, Blake has to take 3 finals, keep studying for the bar, and drive 17 hours with 2 rambuntcious kids and a 1 week old baby. So in all we don't have much going on. In fact it is rather boring around here lately.

But don't worry to much about us. My mom is flying in this next week, we have amazing friends here that are willing to help, and we really do feel at peace about the whole thing. I can't wait to get back to my house. It will be nice to have a backyard for my kids to run in and that I won't have to keep telling them to stop running and jumping cause they will bug Marta (the lady that lives downstairs). So we should be home around the 4th of July!

I went to the doctor's today and he said that I was measuring small and so he wanted me to go for an ultrasound. Of course I was very okay with this. Well everything turned out fine. I think I am measuring 2 weeks behind because he has dropped. He is very cute and even has some hair. I can't wait for him to be born. I want to see him and cuddle him so bad.

So there is an update on what is going on. I will definitely post pictures of when Eli makes his grand entrance, but if you don't see any other posts just know that I still love ya all but am just a little busy.

Pregnancy pics

The other day when we were out at the lake we decided to stop and take some pictures of the girls and I. I will post the girls pictures when I have edited them. But here are a few of me. I love having maternity pics so I can look back at previous pregnancies and see if I am bigger or not. I feel bigger with this pregnancy. So these pics are at 35 weeks. I am now at 36 and can't wait to meet my little one. I am getting more and more impatient for him to get here.

Last year in his 20's

Yesterday was Blake's 29th birthday. It is the last year that he can say that he is in his 20's! So after school and studying most of the day he came home for presents and then we headed out to Shawnee Lake for a paddle boat ride.

It was so much fun. It was peaceful and beautiful. The girls absolutely loved it. By the end they were sitting on the back with their feet trailing in the water.

Rylee wanted to "drive" with Daddy. Unfortunately Blake had to do most of the paddling because my belly is to big. Every time I brought my knees up they would knock into it.

It was such a great day. It was so nice to get out of the house and be on the lake. After we were done we went and took some pictures of the girls and me and then came home for a great dinner. Blake requested shrimp and steak. It was really yummy. Then of course we had to devour some cupcakes.
