More fun

I can't stay away from Photoshop so I thought that I would post what I have done. As you can tell I really like Black and White photos with a touch of color and it is all I have figured out how to do. So that is what I do to all my pics. I will try and learn something new so that I can stop boring you all.

Fun with Photoshop

With my new camera I got the Adobe photoshop elements 6.0. It is a picture editing software. It is so awesome. I am still learning how to do things but this is my new favorite thing to do. Turn a picture into black and white and then add color to it. I think it looks beautiful. I am also playing around with some layouts to do birth announcements. When I get some I will put them on for you to see.

Sleeping Beauty

The other night while I was making dinner Paige wanted to do some puzzles on my bed. Well she was being really quiet in there so I went to check on her and this is what I found. She was so tired she picked up all her puzzles and went to sleep.

Craziness

So some of you know already that I am training to run a 5 mile run while I am in Idaho Falls this summer. Why I have chosen to do such an insane thing is beyond me. JK. I actually really like running now. Which for those who know me really well will know that that is a profound statement. I started training about 4 weeks ago and could barely run for 40 seconds. Well now I can run 3 miles. I am not the fastest but I can do it. I am training with 2 other girls from here that are from Idaho and that will be running it with me. I started out not caring how well I did, I just wanted to say that I did it. Well now (I know this will come as a shock) my competitiveness is coming out and I want to do well in it. We will have to see if that will happen. I am so excited to be able to do this. Now I need your help. I need some suggestions on some fun songs to run to. So if there are any that you really like that are a good beat let me know so that I can keep motivated out on the trail. Thanks.

Officially a 2L!!!!

I am so proud of Blake! Today he had his last final so he is now a 2L!!!! We are so excited to finally be done with our first year of law school. It has been a great year and we look forward to the next one. Blake has studied really hard and persevered through it and me and the girls are so proud that he is getting a great education.

After he was done with his final him and some of his buddies headed out to the fairways and got in a round of golf. He had a fun time and got a good sunburn..
After that we headed to the pool, cause it was a really warm day, and let the kids play in the water while we soaked up some rays.

Tomorrow we have Blake all to ourselves and so the girls have said that they want to take daddy to the zoo, feed the fishes, and get ice cream. So we are going to have a family day and enjoy the time together cause on Monday he starts his externship.

Rylee and Keagan's Birthday

Yesterday was Rylee and Keagan's 2nd birthday. I cannot believe that it has only been 2 years since we were sitting in the NICU with them. We thought a lot about Keagan yesterday and wished we could have celebrated with him but Jena, Jill, and the kids went up to his grave and had cupcakes with him and sang happy birthday. Thanks guys for thinking of him and doing that. Yesterday we let Rylee open presents all day long. She got really spoiled. Thanks everyone for the presents, cards, and wishes. Last night we had cupcakes and she thoroughly enjoyed them. Here are some pictures of their beginning and Rlyee's fun day yesterday.

Good food, sweet kids, and cold water

We had a fun day today. First we had a great lunch at Brandi's. While we were there Rylee and Jack were being really cute with each other. They climbed up on this platform and were sharing Jack's apple slices. It was so sweet. When we came home Rylee went for a nap (Blake stayed with her) and Paige and I headed down to the pool with Devri and her girls. It was 80 degrees outside but the water was freezing. The girls had a great time though.

Anything getting done?

This is how I feel my day was yesterday.

I decide to do the laundry. As I start toward the laundry room, I notice that there are cheerios all over the floor and my car keys are in the cereal bowl. I decide to pick up the cheerios before I do the laundry. I lay my car keys down on the counter, put the cheerios in the trash can under the counter, and notice that the trash can is full. So, I decide to take out the trash. But then I think, since I'm going to be near the mailbox when I take out the trash I may as well pay the bills first.
I take my checkbook off the table, and see that there is only one check left, my extra checks are in my desk in the office/playroom, so I go to my desk where I find a sippy cup full of juice.

I'm going to look for my checks, but first I decide I should put sippy cup in the refrigerator to keep it cold. As I head toward the kitchen with the sippy cup, a vase of flowers on the counter catches my eye --they need to be watered.
I set the sippy cup on the counter, and I discover baby wipes that I've been searching for all morning. I decide I better put them back in the bathroom, but first I'm going to water the flowers.

I set the wipes back down, fill a container with water and suddenly I spot the TV remote, one of the kids left it on the kitchen table. I realize that after school when they go to watch TV, I will be looking for the remote as they fight over who lost it, but I won't remember that it's on the kitchen table, so I decide to put it back in the den where belongs, but first I'll water the flowers.

I splash some water on the flowers, but most of it spills on the floor. So, I set the remote back down, get some paper towels and wipe up the spill.

Then I head down the hall trying to remember what I was planning to do. At the end of the day: the laundry isn't washed, the bills aren't paid, there is a warm cup of juice sitting on the counter, the flowers aren't watered, there is still only one check in my checkbook, I can't find the remote, I can't find the wipes, and I don' t remember what I did with the car keys.

Then when I try to figure out why nothing got done today, I'm really baffled because I know I was busy all day long, and I'm really tired.

I realize this is a serious problem, and I'll try to get some help for it, but first I'll check my e-mail.

Great Day

We had a fun anniversary yesterday. I told Blake that all I wanted to do for it is go out to dinner by ourselves on Saturday night. So we got a babysitter, picked a place, and then Rylee got sick. So we thought that we would just order the food and go get it. It was really good. Then we had Annie watch them for 20 minutes while we went for a ride on Blake's bike. So on Sunday (our actual anniversary) I stayed home with Rylee and Blake went to church and then I made a really good dinner. We had Lime Chicken Tacos, Corn Muffins, and Italian Sodas (check out our Delicious Creations blog for the recipe's). They were so good. Then the girls and I made a Rice Krispie log with chocolate in the middle that we took to the park and played. Thanks to everyone for the wishes and taking Paige for us.

Happy Anniversary!

Today I have been married to the love of my life for 6 years. I can honestly say that he is the most amazing man ever. He is so kind and loving and he treats me like a princess. I love him so much. I cannot believe that it has been 6 years, we still feel like newlyweds (and act like it most of the time!) Who ever thought on that day that 6 years later we would have 3 children, a house, going to law school, and living in Kansas? Blake I love you babe. Thanks for being the best husband ever.

Uncomfortable shoes?

I just got this e-mail from my sister-in-law. I guess that this is the latest rage in Japan. Anyone think that these would be a good idea? I think I will not complain so much about my shoes hurting anymore. This is crazy.
