Update

We have been having a ton of fun here in Smithers. UInfortunitely I forgot my camera cord so I can't add pictures. We have been having fun going to baseball games, visiting and holding my new neice Mattea, playing yatzee, going to the park, swimming in the hot tub, and lots of other things. We leave on Saturday to go to Terrace for some drag racing and then on Monday we are leaving for Vancouver to go to a water park, science center, the aquarium, and what else we can fit in. Then it is off to Idaho again to see my wonderful husband. When I get back I will post a bunch of pictures of the fun we have had.

Alive, busy, and travelling

I know it has been a while since I have posted. I just wanted to let you know that we are alive and well and so busy that I haven't had time to blog. The girls and I are leaving tomorrow for Canada. We will drive to Blake's uncle's house in Washington and spend the night. Then we will head for Vancouver to see my Grandma that is in the hospital and will meet my step dad there and then him and us will head up to Smithers. It will be a long trip but so worth it to see my family, especially my brother's baby that hopefully soon they will have. So when I get to Smithers and have some time I will post more. We have done some really fun things here so will post those later.

Scooter Fun

One of my in-law's neighbor owns this scooter, and the other day she brought it down. So of course we had to try it out. They are the funnest things ever. Some day I would love to go to Italy and rent one of these and go around seeing Italy on it. It would be the best.

Ampesi

Blake's brother Blaine got back from his mission in Africa and wanted to make us a meal. So he made us ampesi. It was interesting. You pick up a plantain or a potato with your hands and dip it into the sauce. It wasn't bad tasting but it wasn't the greatest meal I have ever had.

Balloons for Keagan

I know that these are a little late but we have been really busy. So I thought while I was here in Idaho I would catch up on my journal/blogging.

On June 20 we went out behind our apartment and let go of 41 balloons for Keagan. We do 41 because that is how many days we had him here for. This year we thought that we would draw pictures and write messages to him.





Paige loved doing this. Her picture is of Keagan and Jesus and Mary. It was going to be Heavenly Father but then she changed it to Mary.















When we woke up the next morning Paige asked if we could go find where the balloons came down. So to avoid driving around forever and waisting precious gas I told her that Keagan caught them and has them. She luckily accepted that answer and didn't make us drive all over.
