All Aboard the Choo Choo Train

Our good friend Sally is always coming up with these really cute things for us to do so that our husbands can study and we don't get bored. So on Saturday we drove out to Baldwin City and went to the Maple Leaf Festival. They had a train that we could ride. We had to wait for it so we went to the park and let the kids play.
This is a picture of the "moms" that we went with: Sally, Laura, and Ina.
Paige was swinging on the one of the swings that they had.

I don't know if you can read the ticket that we got but on the bottom it says From: Baldwin, Kansas. To: Nowhere, Kansas and Return.

There was a brick wall around the park that we moms hung out on while the kids played. So we decided to line up the kids and get this really cute pictures of them.

Elise, Nona, Isaac, Stockton, Paige, Maddy, Rylee, and Sammy.

The girls and I enjoyed the train ride so much. We think that we need to bring Blake back to do it with us. This is the first train I have ever ridden on.

Paige kept hanging her head out the window to see all the things going by. As she was looking out the window she noticed a boy sitting down a few seats from us and they started playing peek a boo out the windows. It was hilarious.

Shortly after the train ride started they had some train robbers come through and then at the end of the ride they stopped and had a shoot out with the police and the robbers.
The kids thought that this was a cool little thing to watch.

And here we are in Nowhere, Kansas!

This was my little cutey looking out the
window at the beautiful scenery.

Paige loved the train ride.

This was after we got off and the kids were a little bit grumpy.

All in all we had a great day on this little train ride. It was a really warm day but was quite windy. It was a gorgeous drive out there except that Rylee was teething and she screamed the whole way there.

We wish there were some neat train rides like that around here. What happened to Paige's arm? I must have missed that!
