Baby Shower for Eli

Great food, Great friends, and Great presents, what more could a pregnant mom ask for. Yesterday our friends Sally, Casey, Kristin, and Laura put on this beautiful shower for myself and my good friend Stacey, who is due 11 days after me.

After we took this picture I decided it probably wasn't a good idea for me to stand next to her. She makes me look like I am 2 months farther along!

A few of our friends made these baby slings for us. They are so cute and I can't wait to try it out. I think they will come in really handy when we are trying to move. This way I can be assured that the girls are not all over him.

Car seat cover

So I posted a while back that I had bought some really cute fabric to make Eli a car seat cover. Well I finished it awhile ago and thought I would post the finished project on here.

Easter fun

I know that these are a little late but I am working on trying to keep updated. I had kinda forgotten that you are supposed to color eggs for Easter until I was talking to a friend and she said that they were going to do it that night. So I figured that I probably shouldn't be a slacker and let the kids do it. It actually turned out really well. They didn't even make a mess of any of it.

On Saturday our ward had a Easter egg hunt at a local park and it was so much fun. The kids got to find a lot of eggs and play.

Science City

Here are some more pictures of the Science city in Kansas City. My kids absolutely love this place. Every time I say something about it they get all excited and start talking about the things that they love. Paige cannot seem to pin point one thing that is her absolute favorite. We are sure gonna miss this place when we move.

Wizard of Oz exhibit

One of the great things about living in Kansas is that we are close to Kansas City, MO. Stacey, Casey, and I took the kids down last week to go to Science City and while we were there we went over to Crown Center Plaza to the Wizard of Oz exhibit. I was thinking that it would be this dumb little thing but I was pleasantly surprised when we got there. It was actually really cool. It had these little places the kids could walk through and a couple slides to go down. I am glad that we went. I will post pics of Science city when I get more time.

Rylee's Personality

My really good friend Kalli makes these amazing bows and so when we were in Idaho she had to deck my girls out in these gorgeous hats. So I put Rylee's on her the other day and asked her to smile for me. This is what I got. She finally gave me a normal one after a while. She is such a cute girl with the funniest personality.

Do you see that

Do you see that count down over there to the right. That is right we are down to under a hundred days left till Eli is due. I can not express how excited I am. I just want to meet my little boy and see what he looks like, but the thing I look forward to the most is having him snuggle into my neck and cuddling with him. Oh the wait is unbearable when you are as impatient as I am. But the up side is that I bought some way cute fabric today to make a nursing cover and car seat cover and I am really excited to get them together. I will post a pic when they are done.
